Can I just say that I love how muppet-ish panel 2 looks? Aster totally looks like a muppet and it is great.

In other news, if you are a nerd you’re most likely aware that this weekend is the mecca of nerdom, the San Diego Comic Convention.  As I mentioned Wednesday, I live on the other side of the country and cannot attend (honestly, can’t say I would unless I was exhibiting anyway).  I thought, since it being the time of the season and all, it would be good to practice “con sketching”, or, drawing stuff for people at an event as fast as you can while retaining a certain amount of stylisitc quality.

The below were each done in about 5 minutes or less while mumbling to myself.  I tried to think of random things someone might ask for me to draw, like Pub as Captain America, or Herbin as Batman (or, hehe, Pub as Doctor WhoOo!).  I need to do this more often, honestly, and more of just the characters, not my characters pretending to be other characters.  I sweat the days when someone asks me to draw a famous character whose costume I can’t remember for the life of me.  But I digress…
