Oh man, you know what’s cool? Their names are finally established! And it only took twenty pages/strips!
The bugs are a thing that I think we’ll be seeing more of. I call them Letter Bugs. They fly around in alphabet swarms and make words for people when appropriate. They also taste like mint.
I know having an “inside joke” that doesn’t include the reader is kind of mean, but for this I found it to be necessary. Maybe I’ll put what got ‘em to break the ice so well in a collection or something – then it really would be an inside joke! Am I right?! Yes I am. See ya’ Friday!
